Rowe Gallery

When Ken and Monica Rowe opened the doors of Rowe Fine Art Gallery in March 2010, in Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village, Sedona, Arizona, they had a strong vision of the gallery’s theme and focus. After sculpting wildlife for more than 23 years, Ken knew he did not want any overlap in the works of the artists he represented, and the duo wanted to make sure the physical area complemented the art. After spending more than one year in a cozy upstairs space, the gallery moved to a much larger location under the bell tower in Patio de las Campanas at the end of 2011. The Geoffrey Roth Gallery previously occupied the space. The bright and airy location perfectly exhibits the gallery’s renowned traditional and contemporary southwestern sculptors, painters and jewelers.

Rowe Fine Art Gallery represents sculptors Kim Kori, Richard Loffler, Alvin Marshall, Nicolai Medvedev, Erik Petersen, Ken Rowe, Jason Scull and Joshua Tobey. The gallery also represents painters Mark Eberhard, Vince Fazio, Lynn Heil, Sue Krzyston, John Poon and Gabor Svagrik, along with graphite artist Jack Morley. Jewelers Cherie Danielle, Liam Herbert and Jennifer Inge are also represented by Rowe Gallery, along with award-winning custom knife-maker Ken Steigerwalt. You will frequently find guest artists demonstrating onsite, and Ken can be found sculpting in the gallery quite often throughout the week. Seasoned art collectors and novices alike will discover something new after spending time talking with artists and viewing Rowe Fine Art’s impressive collection.

Ken has called Sedona home since December 1995. Born in Arizona, he was influenced by drawing and painting with his mother as well as his love of the outdoors. Ken’s first introduction to wildlife art was in the field of taxidermy. For 14 years, he and Monica owned and operated a successful taxidermy studio during which time Ken submerged himself in a profession that demanded an intense study of anatomy and wildlife physiology. Ken believes this in-depth knowledge is an extremely important quality to possess as a wildlife artist. He has been a full-time, award-winning sculptor for the past 19 years; the scale of his work ranges from small maquettes to large monuments.

Ken and Monica welcome you to visit Rowe Fine Art Gallery, located in Patio de las Campanas underneath the bell tower at Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. The gallery is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
